At the beginning of the course I had a general idea of political systems. At the same time most of the specific terms and slangs were unknown to me. I knew what democracy and authoritarianism were, but didn’t fully understand the nuances that separate the different regimes and systems.
Now, I have gotten a lot of knowledge about comparative politics, analysis of political systems, tell apart various electoral systems, party structures, and complex is a governance in different countries. I also understand more about state formation and how different political systems interact in the world.
