My name is Cristian Diaz, and looking back at my first post, I was initially unsure a bit nervous about comparing and contrasting two countries I had never been to and how that would work out for me. I wasn’t confident in my ability to make meaningful comparisons between Spain and Poland. One of the biggest challenges I faced in the beginning was finding reliable and trusted sources to support my comparisons between Spain and Poland.

However, as the weeks went on, I started to feel more confident in my ability to analyze and present comparisons. I’ve developed stronger skills in how to phrase and organize my thoughts, which has allowed me to form a clearer and more cohesive comparisons. I have definitely learned a great deal about both countries, especially in areas like their electoral systems, party systems, bureaucracies, and the structure of their legislative systems that I don’t think I would’ve found out if it wasn’t for these blogs.

Overall, I feel like I’ve made significant process since my first post, because it didn’t feel like a task, I was confident in, I am now able to compare these two countries with more clarity and confidence, thanks to the research and learning I’ve done over the past weeks.
